With great pride and joy, we are pleased to announce that another group of NPH young adults have completed their college education! Our goal has always been to provide them with the necessary tools to break the cycle of poverty from which they come from, and we know that with the support that sponsors and donors provide us each year, we are achieving it.

We celebrated the end of this important stage in the lives of our 16 youths with a party. These graduates all have their own unique stories and pasts. All had to overcome poverty and a lack of support before arriving at NPH. But here, they found family and a path to success. Some of these students joined our while in kindergarten; they have been with us their whole lives!

The graduation party took place in the city of Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, where NPH Mexico has a house for youths who attend different universities.

Marketing, Industrial Engineering, Beauty Culture, Accounting, Law, Biochemical Engineering, Communications, Dentistry, Business Administration, Physical Education, Mechanical Engineering, Technology and Software are the fields these students followed, and they can now pursue their new careers with passion.

"You move on by closing a door in your life while opening others; today you achieve something that most Mexicans have no opportunity to attain, thanks to the generosity of supporters," said Father Phil Cleary during the celebration mass.

This is their last stage within NPH; from now on, they begin to prepare for their working lives, and in a few months they will leave our home and become active members of society.

Father Phil Cleary addressed the youths regarding this particular farewell: "There is a universal truth that we all have to face: Everything finally ends. Endings are inevitable; today is one of those days for you. I suppose it hurts, and if it hurts, it means that you have been happy with us, and if so, then we have served you well over the years and our efforts have been successful."

Reaching this day has been a great challenge for all of the graduates. They feel satisfied due to their achievements and because their past has not stopped them. Instead, it is what has driven them to keep going.
